Dear Daily Bungalow

Fairey Aviation Company - “Fairey Battle” advert, issued in 1938 by mikeyashworth on Flickr.
A colourful advert, by Richard Trevethick, from the 1938 Empire Air Day for the Fairey “Battle” - the bulk of which were built in the late 1930’s at the company’s Heaton Chapel facility near Manchester. The Battle was not very successful, being withdrawn from combat service by 1940 and used for training purposes afterwards.
